Wooden vessel’s  construction stages

The construction of a wooden vessel starts from a paper design, to make the first realistic approximation. Then follows the computer redrawn using special design software (CAD), to draw with maximum accuracy needed for such construction.

Afterwards, we select the timber and the equipment that will be required based on the client's wishes combined with shipbuliding demands.

Then, the keel is constructed ,the frames of the vessel follow and all other major components. After, we made the reinforcement parts of the deck, the deck and then the internal arrangement and division of the space. Immediately after vessel’s outer planking is manufactured, and positioned, with the inside and outside bases of  the vessel to follow after.

Next follows the placement of the board equipment (engines, electrical installation, water and fuel piping. The dyeing of different parts of the vessel, is made during all the above mentioned phases.

After masts and sails (if required) are placed, and then we put rigging, winches, chains and other accessories. At this stage, the boat is ready, loaded on a trailer and transported to the sea, where it is launched. In the sea we test vessel's systems and after successful finishing, we deliver the boat to its owner together with  a written guarantee and certificate of seaworthiness.
Below you can see pictures of construction stages of a vessel. Note that depending on the size and equipment needed, some stages can be differentiated.
